Buy a Pink Shopping Card and save a life! It's a win, win, win for everyone. When you purchase the card for $50 you receive 20 percent off of your merchandise from selected retailers. The money raised will help fund Julie Rogers "Gift of Life" Program which provides educational awareness and free mammograms to the underserved in Southeast Texas. Participating merchants benefit too from an increase in sales. And the $50 is tax-deductible. The cards make great gifts. A luncheon was held Tuesday to kickoff the program. Those attending included Regina Rogers, Alberta Jones, Gay Scott and Linda Domino who are chairing the project, Victoria Bonsall, Laura McMurray, Kathy Chessher, Gina Crenshaw, Allison Getz, Michele Smith, Courtney Horton, and Kathy Catalano.
