The Beaumont City Council officially moved into its new chambers Tuesday after a brief ribbon cutting ceremony and reception. A standing room only crowd attended. The new diggs received an $800,000 makeover including new wireless hookups, a state-of-the-art video system, remote control blinds, and new stadium seating chairs. The chamber is accentuated by beautiful dark wood. It's really nice!
