Dozens of alumni from various schools attended the HBCU Alumni Mixer on Friday at the MCM Elegante's Tradewinds Tavern in Beaumont.Schools represented included Southern, Texas Southern, Huston-Tillotson, Prairie View, Grambling, and Alabama State, just to name a few. The members wearing their school colors chatted, and shared stories over food and drink. The purpose of the mixer is to help increase membership in the various alumni organizations and provide more support to the schools. Thanks to the Elegante for helping to sponsor the event.
