Someone once said that being a journalist is like having a front row seat to history. Well, I've been sitting in that seat for more than 15 years and I want to share the view with you. Front Row will keep you informed of what's really going on in your community and across the nation. Send news tips, pictures, or videos to michellemccalope@gmail.com. I'd love to hear from you!

"Noble Things" Premiere
Southeast Texans came out in droves to support their own at the premiere of "Noble Things". The movie which is about a troubled country singer featured Brett Moses, Jody Nolan, and Tracy Byrd. The 7 o'clock premiere at Hollywood Theater sold out, 300 strong. And others came for the 9:30 showing. I went to the first showing. It was a great movie. I really enjoyed it. I especially enjoyed seeing the local scenes such as the Dixie Dance Hall and the sheriff's deputies wearing the Jefferson County Sheriff's uniforms. Go out and support the movie!
