It was a perfect night for an outdoor concert and the Charlie Daniels Band didn't disappoint. The band performed at the Rice Festival grounds in Winnie Thursday night as part of Hats off to Industry. The event is sponsored by Former Jefferson County Judge Carl Griffith and friends to show appreciation and support of those involved in the petrochemical industry in the Golden Triangle. More than 2,000 cowboys and cowgirls enjoyed the show, bringing their lawn chairs and coolers. There was also barbeque and drinks. A good time for all!
