Someone once said that being a journalist is like having a front row seat to history. Well, I've been sitting in that seat for more than 15 years and I want to share the view with you. Front Row will keep you informed of what's really going on in your community and across the nation. Send news tips, pictures, or videos to michellemccalope@gmail.com. I'd love to hear from you!

Another TV Anchor Calls It Quits
KBMT Channel 12/KJAC Anchor Deedra Wilson is no longer with the station. Sources tell FRONT ROW Wilson resigned the week before Thanksgiving. Wilson anchored the 5 p.m. news on Channel 12 and the 6:30 p.m. news on its sister station KJAC with Beverly Brooks. No word yet on where she's going or whether she's getting out of the business. Whatever the case may be, we wish her much success in her future endeavors! Wilson is the second anchor to resign in the past month. KBTV Channel 4's Erika English also resigned this month.

I am sorry to hear that... I always liked Mrs. Wilson. Whatever else she does she will be good at it :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are still in the area, there is a definite need for Front Row. I will look forward to reading more of your posts.
