The Beaumont Club, a familiar place downtown,recently got a facelift and reopened for business. An Open House was held Wednesday, June 3 to show off the new diggs. It was attended by business and community leaders. The newly-renovated club is owned by Christina Delgadillo. The private dining club and meeting place is open to members from 9:30 to 3:30 p.m. It's open for lunch from 11:30 to 1:30 and available for rental. Those attending included Mayor Becky Ames, Councilman Jamie Smith and his wife, Melanie; Paul and Alberta Jones, Anne Bradley, Joe and Linda Domino, Jim Rich, Langston and Angela Adams, Georgine Guillory, Marty Craig, Beaumont Police Chief Frank Coffin and Commissioner Eddie Arnold and his wife Sheri.
